Neuroscience

Aaron Burden, 41, of Signal Mountain, suffered a massive stroke while working out, and within a few days, he was back at his crossfit gym. He's grateful for the expertise and technology that enabled Erlanger to remove the clot from his brain so quickly, allowing a remarkable recovery.

As the region’s only academic neuroscience center, Erlanger’s specialists treat adult and pediatric patients with a variety of neurological disorders, ranging from common issues to complex disorders. Whether it is an emergency, like stroke, or long-term care, like Alzheimer’s Disease, we provide a comprehensive, multidisciplinary approach to care allowing our patients to receive more specialty and subspecialty services than any other health system in the region. As a not-for-profit hospital, Erlanger and the Neuroscience Institute depend on philanthropic support to provide world class care to our community. Philanthropy is also a driving force behind our efforts to continue to transform care, pursue new treatments and technologies and build a state-of-the-art facility to house our Neuroscience Institute and the Erlanger Center for Innovation.

Your gift will:
